Cheap eats | off season dining in the Berkshires
Let’s face it, the Berkshires are a different place to live in February than in July and August. It’s a skiers paradise and also quite cold! One plus is that the most popular restaurants are more accessible this time of year—no lines, no waiting!)
In the spirit of getting good food and stretching our dollars, I put together a list of restaurants that offer a discounted special menu night or are SUPER cheap eats. Who knows, maybe you’ll become fan this winter and brave the crowds in the summer!

Frankie’s in Lenox offers a pretty straightforward $10 pasta night every Tuesday. Keep an eye out for their vegan specials night as well set those who might be looking for a good vegan Italian food.
Pizza night at 20 Railroad Public House! Stop on in every Sunday night for their weekly pizza special.
Mezze Catering, the catering arm of Mezze Restaurant Group offers Northern Berkshire County weekly take out! Make sure to check their Instagram is the menu rotates weekly.
Join Yuki and the team at Methuselah Bar & Lounge for a weekly taco Tuesday deal: Two tacos and a margarita for $15. New addition for this winter is the option to get sangria and two tacos for $12.99
From breakfast for dinner to their five dollar burger night, the team at Firefly Gastropub offers several nights of the week to enjoy offseason eats.
The first on the list who is not featuring an off-season menu, the ladies at Smokey Divas offer some reasonable take out: barbecue and a side for as low as $9.
The second on the list with weeknight cheap eats, The Ugly Duck is the restaurant nestled in beer bar Thistle and Mirth. Tacos and craft beer? Yes, Please.
As with most things, make sure (again) to check to see if these specials or menus are still available! The closer it gets to high season, menus change and specials phase out. Happy eating!
